I love this place. The staff are incredibly friendly and it's always nice to see them.
If you're looking for some amazing fish and chips you need look no further. This is the place to get it. Wonderfully light batter and succulent fish, what else could you want (well other than a Ferrari).
Great value for money it makes it even harder to overcome the urge to eat here everyday, and self-moderation becomes an almost Herculean task in itself.
If you're in the area and want some of the best fish and chips, head on down and get some grub! -

This place can be both good and bad. Mostly slow and lack of communication, then quick and a good portion. Based on the portion size, it's a good price. But waiting 30 minutes for a medium chips? Arriving after preordering on the telephone and being told your order isn't ready and waiting another 20 minutes? This chippy really is hit and miss.

Another favourite fish and chips. Small shop, but the food here tastes goood. The cod is my
favourite fish and here they cook it especially tasty. The portions
are big and even if you are starving you will be full after that.
Good small place in Hither Green for hungry people :) -

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM do you love fish and chips? Yes of course you bloody do. Then come here for a greasy treat.
The fish is quite expensive, especially the cod. But, you can always be reallyy gross and get a battered sausage because they are quite good.
THE CHIPS however, are the best bit. Small chips are a complete lie. You get so many it is impossible to finish them. Do not try and order more than that because you will never beat them. Ever. They are amazing. I love fishy business and I always feel so gross afterwards but also very happy. The owners are really friendly and happy and love you too eat their foood. -

The amount you get makes it tremendous value, especially when the the quality of the chips is pretty damn good. What's more, the fish batter (I always opt for the haddock) is very crispy and not soggy with oil like at some places.
Having lived up North, I can definitely recommend the curry sauce too. It has a slightly spicy, almost Sichaun Chinese, lilt to it. Definitely not out of a tin, and delicious!
It's a very dangerous thing for my waistline having this literally around the corner from my flat!
